A Corridor of Peace
Under the leadership of Imran Khan, Pakistan opened the Kartarpur Corridor in 2019, enabling Sikh pilgrims from around the world to visit one of their holiest sites without visa restrictions. The initiative was widely recognized as a historic step toward interfaith harmony and peaceful regional engagement.

Imran Khan worked closely with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to strengthen the historic relationship between Pakistan and Turkey. Afghan Peace Process Support – Doha Agreement
Pakistan played a key diplomatic role in facilitating dialogue for peace in Afghanistan. Under Imran Khan’s leadership, Pakistan supported negotiations that contributed to the Doha Agreement, aimed at ending decades of conflict and promoting long-term stability in the region.

In July 2019, Prime Minister Imran Khan visited the White House to meet U.S. President Donald Trump, marking an important moment in restoring diplomatic engagement between Pakistan and the United States. The meeting focused on regional peace, particularly the Afghan peace process, as well as strengthening bilateral cooperation and economic ties.
